Change to Pay-as-you-go Service - 2010/11 Season

How are things changing?

As of the end of March Bucks Mobile will no longer be sending out pay-as-you-go text message updates.

This change is limited to pay-as-you-go updates.

Why are we making the change?

This change has been forced upon Bucks Mobile by the service provider that sends out the text message updates for us. They have informed us that they will cease distribution of pay-as-you-go messages to all the companies that they supply.

As supporters that provide the service for the club, naturally we are sorry that we have to make this change, especially before the end of the season. We had requested an extension of the service from the distributor, but they have refused.

In recognition of this we are providing the affected people with free full time texts to the end of the season and an option to buy at a reduced rate any other updates they would miss to the end of the season - see the table below for details.

We are also introducing Standalone Match Update Tickets for those who like to use the pay-as-you-go service for the odd match.

I'm a match update season ticket holder. Does this affect me?

No. Only the pay-as-you-go service is changing. The service will continue as usual for all match update season ticket holders.

Will the change affect me?

We have sent a free text to each subscriber that is affected to let them know about the change and what their options are.

If you haven't received a text you won't be affected.

We will continue to send news updates to news pay-as-you-go subscribers until the end of the season.

These will be free of charge.

Standalone Match Update Tickets

We are introducing a new service for those who like to follow the odd match on their mobile.

Simply pay £1 before the match you want to follow and we will send you all the updates for that game.
